Muhammad Zufar Safwan Borsra


Experienced Research Assistant with a demonstrated history of working in the research industry. Skilled in Aquaculture, Fisheries Science, Fisheries, Fisheries Management, and Fish. Strong research professional with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) focused in Fishery from University Malaysia Terengganu.

At CFFRC, he does fish feed formulation, handle fish feeding trial, collect data, writing reports, assist in publishing journals. Lead the production of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae for research purpose using underutilised crops as the substrates.

Muhammad Zufar Safwan Borsra has been involved in various research projects include the NEWTON Ungku-Omar Fund’s "Insect and Underutilised Crops Aquafeed Project” and the replacement of wheat flour with bambara groundnut flour in tilapia feed.  Zufar holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Fishery from University Malaysia Terengganu. Prior to joining CFF in December 2015, he worked in Cellmore (M) Sdn Bhd, a Singapore based aquaculture company and Harvest Time Sdn Bhd, a fish farm in Malacca.
